Course Objective

Here at my carving site you will see some of the most unique styles of chainsaw carvings!  I am a world competitor in the chainsaw carving scene.  I have devoted the last 20 years of my life to my passion in artwork, and the last 7 years as a chainsaw sculptor.  I have traveled abroad to take in some of the finest historical pieces of artwork that have molded me into a professional carver.  A chainsaw is a machine designed  for falling and killing trees. I will teach you how to bring those trees back to life in beautiful artistic form.

I will teach you the basics of handling a chainsaw, choosing carving wood,  carving techniques, and how to carve a bear.   I will also coach you on carving a 4’ sculpture for yourself to take home.  I will also supply each student with a carving chainsaw to take home! I will supply you with Alaska Spruce to carve.
